About

After a decade-long career as an award-winning copywriter, Rachel began the crossover into TV and film with a series of shorts, including the Screen Ireland-funded NICE NIGHT FOR IT.

Rachel’s debut feature film DEADLY CUTS premiered as the closing gala of the 2021 Dublin International Film Festival, where she received the festival’s prestigious Discovery Award. Deadly Cuts became the biggest Irish film of 2021, with the biggest opening weekend for an Irish female director in 20 years. It went on to rank Number 1 on Netflix in Ireland, and received global release in 2022.

Rachel lives in Dublin where she is currently shooting ads, developing a number of projects for both film and TV, and finding it weird to write about herself in the third person.
